School Safety

Bristol Public Schools is committed to the safety and security of our students, faculty, staff, and visitors across all school grounds and facilities. To support this commitment, Bristol Public Schools regularly reviews and updates each school’s emergency prevention, protection, mitigation, response, and recovery procedures related to both natural and human-caused emergencies.

Bristol Public Schools works closely with the Bristol Police Department, Bristol Fire Department, and other emergency response partners regarding reported incidents and emergency situations. Our School Safety and Security efforts include established communication procedures, safety protocols, and coordinated response plans designed to help protect our students, staff, families, and community.

Through ongoing planning, collaboration, training, and preparedness, Bristol Public Schools strives to maintain safe and secure learning environments where our students and staff can teach and learn with passion and purpose.
