Bristol Driver Education for High School Students

Driver Education: Summer 2024

Bristol Adult Education Center offers a complete driver education course, including 30 hours of classroom instruction and 8 hours behind-the-wheel. This class is for Bristol high school students, ages 16-17. Students must be age 16 by July 8, and residents of Bristol to participate.

July 08 - The first class is "Parent & Student Night," 6-8 PM. A parent/legal guardian and student must attend this first class together. The class meets at Bristol Eastern High School, Room 139. 

All Remaining Classes will also meet in Room 139 at Bristol Eastern High School, July 09 - July 26, 8:30-10:30 AM, Monday-Friday.

Class make-up dates: 7/29, 7/30, 7/31, Room 139, 8:30 am -10:30 am.

Behind-the-Wheel lessons are scheduled at mutually convenient times for students and their instructor.

Completion Deadline: NOVEMBER 22, 2024
Students who do not obtain a learner’s permit and complete all certificate requirements by November 22, 2024 will be removed from the class roster. A 10% processing fee is deducted from a prorated refund for unused hours. 

Cancellations & Refunds: 

● If you cancel a registration before the start of a session, a 10% processing fee will be deducted from your refund.

● If you cancel a registration after the session begins, a 10% processing fee is deducted from a prorated refund for unused hours.
