In accordance with the CT General Assembly regulations regarding student withdrawal, the following procedures are to be implemented in BPS:
Students 18 Years of Age or Older
A student who is eighteen years of age or older may withdraw from school provided such parent, person, or student appears in-person at the school and signs a withdrawal form.
Students 17-18 Years of Age
The parent or person having control of a child seventeen years of age may withdraw such child from school and enroll such child in an adult education program pursuant to section 10-69.
Such parent or guardian shall personally appear at the school and sign an adult education withdrawal and enrollment form to be provided by the school counselor at the time the parent or guardian appears in person to withdraw the student.
Students Under the Age of 17
The parent or person having control of a child under seventeen years of age may contact the Central Registration Office or the student's school to obtain the digital withdrawal link.
