As part of our ongoing commitment to be more environmentally friendly and to ensure stakeholders have quick and easy access to critical information and happenings within our community and surrounding towns, Bristol Public Schools will distribute flyers digitally through ParentSquare. Flyers will be sent in a bi-weekly e-blast format around the 1st and 15th of the month.

Community Events

Below please find information on upcoming community events. A flyer is attached for each event. Please be advised that these events are not organized or operated by Bristol Public Schools or any of its schools.

Bristol Education Foundation

Please join us for the Bristol Education Foundation Trivia Night on November 6th @ 6:00 PM at the Doubletree Hotel, 42 Century Drive, Bristol, CT 06010. Early Bird ticket pricing is available for $40 and will be offered through August 31st so consider purchasing your tickets early! Ticket price includes a buffet dinner and Hot Fingers Trivia. Cash bar. Raffle tickets and 50/50 tickets will be available for purchase. Proceeds from this event will benefit the BEF’s efforts to award Mini Grants to Bristol Public School teachers and to support innovative programs for students. Help us continue the mission of supporting the educational needs of Bristol’s scholars! This is a 21+ event. Ticket prices will increase to $50 on September 1st.

Plainville-Bristol Girl Scouts

Calling All School-Aged Girls and Adult Volunteers. Are you interested in joining Girl Scouts? Come to our recruitment meeting on 9/3 at 5:00 pm in the Plainville Public Library.
 

Bristol Gladiators

Fall registration is now open for the Bristol Gladiators wrestling program through the Bristol Boys and Girls Club for grades K-12 for the Fall Session. Practice starts 8/31 and runs through November.

Black Men In White Coats Youth Summit

Save the date! Join Saint Mary’s Hospital, Trinity Health Of New England, as we host the Black Men In White Coats Youth Summit for the third year in a row. Nationally recognized, Black Men In White Coats aims to increase the number of Black men in the field of medicine through exposure, inspiration, and mentorship. We invite students (boys and girls 3rd grade and up), parents, educators, healthcare professionals, and community leaders to attend this inspirational networking event to strengthen the future of healthcare.
