The Bristol Public Schools Gifted Program strives to enrich the educational experience for all students. Formally identified students are included in pull-out sessions at each school every week. Students work on projects which include research, critical thinking and creativity.

Each school also has a gifted coach, who is a regular classroom teacher that also aids in the enrichment process. Coaches work directly with teachers to customize learning for students, and also run before or after school activities that benefit both identified and non identified students.

This year we will focus on rigorous instruction that will also allow for student choice. Middle school students will participate in History Day, creating research projects based on this year's theme Breaking Barriers.  Elementary students will also complete research projects and increase their knowledge of computer coding through fun, rigorous projects and activities!
