The Girls White basketball team got another win yesterday against West Bristol. Grace D'Amato led all scoring with 16 points. Lily Sirois scored 4 points and Sarah LaCouture, Fantasia Love, Sydney Rodriquez and Adriana Varela-Marin had 2 points each. The Hornets defense was great and held West Bristol to zero points in the second half.

The Boys White basketball team defeated West Bristol Monday by the score of 54-49. The White team was led by Donovan Clingan, who scored 23 points in the win. Jordan Wessels played well and scored 13 points. Nate Fries hit three 3 pointers and finished with 9 points. Gavin Gregor played well defensively and added 6 points.


The Girls Blue basketball team earned their sixth consecutive victory on Friday defeating the Greene Hills Gators 26-24. The match up was close throughout the game but tough defense from the Hornets and clutch free throw shooting from Kaley Laird secured the win. Ella Watson and Alex Shorette led the Blue team offensively, while Brooke Treannie helped the team on defense.

The Boys Blue basketball team defeated Greene Hills school 72-29 last Friday afternoon to move to 4 wins and 2 losses. The Blue team committed itself to playing solid team defense, and offensively executed some excellent ball movement with 16 assists in the game. Andrew Spina's active defense was only surpassed by his first two points of the year in from of his excited bench. Victor carrion had a game high 19 points with help from Elijah Borgelin and Victor Rosa who together had 9 assists. Jeremiah Tatum had a few break-away buckets and two three-pointers for a total of 14 points. Seventh graders Michael Alan added 7 points while Christian Stafford put up 5 points. Sixth graders Ben D'Amoto had 5 points while Jaysun Dominquez knocked in 3 points. Gain Green-Campany also played a great defensive game grabbing 5 rebounds.
