Being born and bred in Bristol I am very excited about starting my new position at Bristol Central. I received my Bachelor's Degree and teaching certification from Western New England College in Springfield, MA. I earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Central Connecticut State University and have recently completed my Administrative Certification through Sacred Heart University.
I began working for the Bristol Public Schools in 1993 as a teaching assistant in the ASEP housed at Bristol Eastern. In 1996 I accepted a position at Sage Park Middle School in Windsor where I was involved in creating the first alternative education program in the middle school. After two and a half years in Windsor I jumped at the opportunity to come back home to Bristol as a middle school alternative education teacher at West Woods Academy. While at West Woods I also took the position of Boy's Basketball Coach at Bristol Central and six years later became a social studies teacher here. For the past three years I have enjoyed being part of the Bristol Central family and plan on being part of it for a long time.
I am very proud of our school and our community. Student achievement is very important to me. I want all students at Bristol Central to realize and reach their full potential.
I hope all of you are looking forward to the new school year as much as I am.
