Read Across America Day

We celebrated Read Across America Day on March 2, 2016. Read Across America Day is typically celebrated on Dr. Seuss's birthday.

Each classroom had a guest reader come and read a book to the class. Below are some of the special visitors we had this year.

Meteorologist Tyler Jankoski from NBC Connecticut read to Mrs. Schaffrick's first graders. Did you know that Tyler's mom is one of our cooks in the cafeteria?

Board of Education Chairman Christopher Wilson read to Mrs. Zaldivar's fourth graders. Mr. Wilson is Mrs. Zaldivar's dad!

Thank you to all of our guest readers!
