Great News @ Mt. View School

If you see someone doing something great click here and let us know. This could be a random act of kindess, a good deed, or simply someone going above and beyond to help someone out. We want to recognize the hard work of our students, staff, and families that make our school a great place to be.
Do you know why we ask each family to read 20 minutes per night with their child? Research indicates spending 20 minutes each day over an elementary school career adds 60 full days of reading time. For more information, please click here.

Mt. View School would like to thank E.R. Hinman and Sons in Burlington for their generous donation of 10 yards of mulch for our participation in United Way’s Day of Caring. For the past three years, they have generously supported the beautification of Mt. View School. Thank you E.R. Hinman – your kindness makes Mt. View a more beautiful place to learn!

Mountain View Mission Statement

All team members will be informed of required curriculum and expectations through ongoing communication. To promote student success, all team members will make learning a priority and actively and consistently monitor progress. Two-way communication between family and school will ensure success for each child.
All team members will teach, model, and reinforce REACH expectations each day. This will help promote a safe and caring learning environment. At Mt. View School, we realize when we work together; we will make decisions which are in the best interest of all our students.

Principal's Office Hours
In an effort to support ongoing communication, Mr. Huber will have two Principal's Office Hours each month. No appointment is necessary. Any family or community member is invited to stop in for a cup of coffee and discuss issues related to Mt. View School. Your thoughts and feedback are important as we continually work to improve the learning for everyone at Mt. View School. These two meeting times are informal ways to increase dialogue and to simply talk about our school and ways to make it better. As always, if there are questions or concerns you have, meetings can usually be scheduled within 24 hours. Thanks to all of our families for working collaboratively making Mt. View School a great place to learn!
Principal's Office Hours This Month:
Wednesday, May 15: 7:30 - 8:30 a.m.
