State wide Scholastic Arts Competition Winners
Boys Blue vs. Greene Hills
The Boys Blue basketball team travelled to Greene Hills Tuesday afternoon to face the Gators. The Blue Team took an early lead thatnks to some tough play on the offensive board by Christian Davis who ended up with 22 points. Matt D'Amato and Andre Johnson tood advantage of some fast breaks to net 8 points each including 2 three pointers from Johnson. Elijah Parent ran the offense to perfection with a number of assists, including one to Jack Kozikowski who had 6 points for the Blue Team. The Greene Hills team refused to quit and played a tough second half. The Blue Team needed some tough defensive rebounding from Victor Carrion and Owen Davis to stop the Gators attack. In the end, the Blue Team prevailed with a 59-48 win.
Girls Blue vs. Greene Hills
In Tuesday's game the Girls Blue played a very intense game against Greene Hills witha score of 26-25. Scoring 8 points was Jordan Ouellette followed by Mia Sintilli with 5 points, Haley Riley and Lillian Sirois each scored 4, Ella Watson 3, and Sage Scarritt 2. The girls were down 8 points with only 2 minutes left in the game, but they did not give up. With aggressive plays and great hustle they managed to close the gap. Not mention Lillan Sirois with our winning basket.
Boys White vs. West Bristol
The boys white lost at home Monday toa scrappy West Bristol team by a score of 40-35. The white team battled back from being down 13 points and cut the lead to 2, but couln't secure the win in the end. Noah Waters led the team with 16 points and Brady Lafferty added 7 for the white team.
Boys White vs Green Hills
The boys white basketball team beat Green Hills yesterday by the score of 52-40. Donovan Clingan led the team with 12 points. Shane Ouellette made 3 big 3-pointers to add 9 points. Noah Water scored 8, Austin Brown and Drew Fries both contributed with 6 points each and Delijah Laronde had a number of rebounds and scored 4 points. Brady Lafferty had an all around solid game while scoring 5 points for the white team.
Girls White vs. Green Hills
The girls whti team suffered another tough loss yesterday. The Girls were led by Alyssa Masi with 8 points, Avery Arbuckle and MacKensie Archangelo scored 4 points. Jessica Levesque, Leah Chipman and Damani Hough finished up with scoring 2 points each.
Girls White vs. Northeast
The Chippens Hill White Girls basketball team suffered a though loss yesterday to Northeast. Chippens was led by Alyssa Masi with 5 points, Leah Chipman and Fantasia Love with 4 points each. Jessica Levesque and Damani Hough finished up the scoreing with 2 points each.
Boys White vs. Northeast
The boys white team beat Northeast yesterday byt he score of 57-41. Noah Waters led the attack by scoring 21 points and Brady Lafferty rebounded well and scored 9 points. Austin Brown added 8 and Donaovan Clingan contributed with 7 points. Delijah Laronde and Aiden Rodriquez played well for the white team off the bench as they both scored 4 points each.
