Your entire family is invited to participate in our all school book club called One School, One Book. At a special school-wide assembly, we introduced Beverly Cleary's book, The Mouse and the Motorcylce. Every student received a copy of this book, as well as a reading schedule to follow at home. We ask that you please find the time in your busy schedules to read this book aloud, and to make it a priority for your family. This shouldn't take more than 15 minutes per night!

Reading aloud at home is valuable because it better prepares your child to be an effective reader. But it is also a fun, worthwhile family activity. With the One School, One Book Program, we aim to build a community of readers at our school. Everyone - students, parents, teachers, even administrative staff - will be participating, and we can all reap the many benefits.
