We are participating in the Staples Recycle for Education program, a great way to help the environment and raise money for our school.

Proceeds from recycled cartridges will be used to purchase equipment and supplies that benefit our students in academic and UA programs.   If everyone participates, the $$ will add up! 

How can you help?
It's easy.  Just send your empty or out-dated inkjet and toner cartridges to school with your child.  Students can give them to their homeroom teacher.

Recycling ink and toner cartridges is good for the environment too! Here’s why:

• For every ink or laser toner cartridge that is recycled, two quarts of oil are kept out of landfills.
• The number of ink and laser toner cartridges thrown away in one year is enough to circle the earth.
• It takes 1,000 years for an ink or laser toner cartridge to decompose in a landfill.
• Recycling ink or laser toner cartridges helps to decrease the amount of waste that goes into landfills and helps reduce the amount of toxic chemicals absorbed into the Earth.
